NOTTINGHAM TRENT UNIVERSITY

Nottingham Trent University is a research university in Nottingham, England. The university won runner-up for Best UK University for Postgraduate Studies – maintaining its position from 2020. It also won the award for Best UK university for Student Life, which was based on students’ feedback on the sense of community they feel, the diversity and extent of socialising, sports and extracurricular activities that are available, and also how the University promotes good mental health.

At NTU you will be part of a community of students and staff from over 160 countries around the world. Nottingham is a welcoming city and we know you’ll make friends for life here.

The University offers over 500 full-time courses, all offering opportunities for practical experience. Most undergraduate courses and many of their postgraduate courses include an option to apply for a work placement.

They have eight Academic Schools located over four campuses. There’s their central City Campus in the bustling heart of Nottingham, the idyllic countryside estate of Brackenhurst, and their dedicated student village at the Clifton Campus. Last but not least is “Confetti” digital media hub in the city’s creative quarter and NTU in Mansfield.

City Campus

A cosmopolitan, bustling campus right in the city centre. Only five minutes’ walk to the shops and all the excitement of a busy student city. For those who do not like the hustle and bustle of the city, Nottingham’s Arboretum is a huge park and aviary that sits right alongside the City Campus. You can hit your lectures in the morning, picnic in the park at lunch, study in the Boots library in the afternoon, and head out at night, all within the borders of the City Campus.

Brackenhurst Campus

A beautiful campus in the countryside, about 45 minutes’ drive from Nottingham with a regular bus service. If you are with the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences, you’ll be studying here. When you are based at Brackenhurst, you’ll become part of their amazing community; from their students to their staff, to the animals themselves. And that makes Brackenhurst Campus a living and learning experience unlike any other.

Clifton Campus

A friendly, vibrant student village with all the facilities you need in one place. Just six kilometres from the centre of Nottingham, with a bus service to the City Campus every 10 minutes. Clifton is also home to sport at NTU, with more outdoor and indoor facilities than you can shake a (hockey) stick at. There’s plenty of green space on campus too for when you need some peace and quiet, and when you want to stretch your wings and take in the sights and sounds of Nottingham.
