SUFFOLK UNIVERSITY BOSTON

Since 1906, Suffolk has been committed to creating an exceptional learning experience. Located right in the heart of downtown Boston, Suffolk University gives its students unparalleled access to the city and all it offers. At Suffolk University, you can experience an American education at a university recognized by U.S. News & World Report as having the fifth-largest proportion of international students among United States institutions. Nearly one in four Suffolk students come from outside the United States, and they are experts at helping students acclimate to their new home away from home.

Its college center is the Boston Common. It is steps from dozens of historic sites like the Old State House, Faneuil Hall, and the Massachusetts State House. It has no real boundaries to its campus—Boston and Suffolk blend together. That means students have incredible access to a wealth of opportunities, whether it’s museums and restaurants or internships and co-ops.

Here, you will have more than 60 degree programs to choose from. Many of the faculty who will teach and mentor you hail from countries around the world, and bring a wealth of perspectives, experience, and ideas to enrich your education. At the same time, it also takes pride in being a personal, student-centered school, where faculty and administrators know students by name. Its staff takes the time to recognize each student’s promise, figure out what makes him or her tick, and builds important mentoring relationships. You will learn outside the classroom as well, in internships, volunteer positions, and co-curricular activities that will connect you with life, business, and people all over the Greater Boston area.

Suffolk University offers both on- and off-campus housing. Situated in the heart of Boston, Suffolk’s historic Beacon Hill location and proximity to the North End provide a number of living options, as does the surrounding area. In addition to housing, Suffolk University offers programs for commuters, city-wide discounts, and of course, various meal plans.
